Queen Elizaeth II Turns 93

The British Queen, Queen Elizabeth turns 93 today, Sunday, April 21st, 1926. Elizabeth ascended the throne on February 6, 1952, according to the UK Office of National Statistics. She is the longest serving monarch in the history of England.  

Queen Elizabeth II became the longest-reigning British monarch on 9 September 2015 when she surpassed the reign of her great-great-grandmother Victoria. She is also the oldest Monarch the British ever had. 

The entire royal family was dressed in blue, with Queen Elizabeth sporting a baby blue outfit and a matching hat that included bright pink ribbon.
